Tentang Aku

I am a stay-at-home mummy.

I was supposed to be an aeronautical engineer but I did not, because I choose to dedicate myself for my loving husband and our two adorable sons. I am very much committed to educating and nurturing my little caliphs into professional muslims. I  am a firm believer that parents (especially mothers) are the best educator for their children.

I started homeschooling my children from their first day of life, introducing them to every single thing they find around them. I help them develop their interest and provide them resources to help them learn more about the things that they like.

I also believe that a truly successful lady is one who is able to balance between her spouse, children, family and career properly in its order. My mentors are, of course, my own parents who has taught me well over the years.

While I still maintain my love and passion for aeroplanes and engineering, I have found a better career path for myself. I am now training to be a childbirth educator and doula under AMANI Birth. More flexible hours with my family alhamdulillah~

I am not going to tell you that you should have a hospital birth or a homebirth or a car birth, but I am certainly going to tell you and your spouse that both of you should empower yourself with childbirth education before you give birth. Once you are educated and are well-prepared, you will have no problem to birth anywhere, at anytime. Education and preparation will save you from unnecessary interventions too.

My strong passion in the field of childbirth education comes from my own traumatic experience during birth of my first baby, followed by a bad experience with a doctor who does not support me well during my second birth. Since then, I have started to empower myself with knowledge and prepare myself for an empowering childbirth experience for my next baby. I have become a natural childbirth, breastfeeding and attachment parenting advocate. I also help mothers whose had traumatic birth by providing emotional support, and also mothers who are attempting a vaginal birth after one or multiple cesareans.

I hope to share whatever knowledge and experience I have with you. Please feel free to express any opinion or ideas in the comments section. If you would like to be in touch with me for post-cesarean or breastfeeding support, please feel free to PM me on facebook. 😀 I hope fellow readers will benefit from my blog. Insya Allah~
